This tab lists all the materials needed to produce this BOM (see the "Components" window on the left half of the screen). The material selected in the list is displayed on the right in detail and can be edited there.

Here you can manage the components (or input-materials).

• The "New Component" button adds a new line. Complete the data on the right side of the detail area. You must assign at least one material and enter the target quantity.
• The "Delete Component" button removes the currently selected line.

Please do not create the same materials multiple times in this list. The splitting is carried out later in the intermediate product tab by assigning partial quantities to the intermediate product levels.

Note: If you are creating a BOM for the process industry (recipe), please note that you specify the target quantities relative to the reference quantity in the BOM Header. This is irrelevant in the case of a piece of goods where the reference quantity is "1".

• Material - ComboBox to select material
• Manufactured from BOM - Direct reference to a subordinate BOM. This entry is necessary if you create versioned BOMs and need a direct dependency on a specific BOM. If this field is left blank, the retrograde BOM resolution will take the standard BOM that can produce the corresponding material.
• Sequence: Used to sort the list of components (left)
• Target quantity (UOM) - Target quantity in the base unit of measure according to material master
• Target quamtity - Conversion field to specify or display the target quantity in an alternative unit of measure. If no alternative units of measure have been maintained in the material master, the base unit of measure (UOM) is used.

• "New alternative component" button - Adds a new Line. Select an alternative material in the Combobox and enter the target quantity.
• "Delete alternative component" button - The selected line is removed.
