[BSOPartslist] Bill of Materials (end user guide)

In this tab, you configure the workflow nodes in the context of the BOM. The BOM is the context order after the fourth level in which you can override the parameters (= Fourth concretisation level). Please refer to the section "Workflow Configuration/Overwrite parameters".

However, after you have created a new BOM, you do not see any workflows yet, because you must link them to the BOM:

A brief repetition of the data technical correlations:

  1. A BOM always refers to a material workflow.
  2. Multiple workflows can be associated with a material workflow.
  3. Therefore, only the workflows that were previously assigned to the material workflow can be assigned to a BOM

Add button

A window opens with a selection list of the possible workflows. Select a workflow and confirm with OK. The selected workflow is linked to this BOM and appears as a selection option in the ComboBox. The selected workflow in the ComboBox is displayed graphically in the lower screen area.

Remove button

In the ComboBox, select the workflow. Press the "Remove" button and the link will be deleted.

In a newly created bill of materials that is very similar to another BOM, you can copy the corresponding control recipe parameters from another BOM.

  1. Open that parts list under Master Date / Bill of material.
  2. Open the tab page Workflow.
  3. The selection box appears in the selection menu of the Workflow tab page:

  1. Select the workflow from which you want to copy the parameters to your workflow.
  2. Click on Next.
  3. The Configuration transfer window appears. In the Configuration list, select all values that you want to transfer from the configuration to your current workflow.

  1. Press Copy to apply the selected parameters.
  2. Save your entries with the button.
