Installation overview

This chapter describes the tasks that you must perform to install iPlus on your machine. iPlus-framework and iPlus-MES are distributed via self-installer application (iPlus installation- and update program), which can be retrieved via download from the iplus-framework website.

The iPlus installation and update program provides:

• installation 
• updates
• rollback
• uninstall

Please ensure following system requirements, if you want run iPlus.

Software:

• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 or newer
• Database server: Micorosft SQL server 2012 or newer
• Version 5, programmed with .NET 8/9 , runs native without UI on Linux. With UI (Desktop) it runs with WINE (https://www.winehq.org/).

Hardware (server):

• Processor: 1 Ghz multicore
• RAM: 4 GB 
• HDD space: 2 GB 
• Graphics card: RAM(120MB or greater) with DirectX 9.0 or higher 

Hardware (client):

• Processor: 1 Ghz multicore
• RAM: 2 GB 
• HDD space: 1 GB 
• Graphics card: RAM(120MB or greater) with DirectX 9.0 or higher 

Installation of "iPlus installation- and update program"

Please perform following steps to install VIaUp:

1. Download iPlusInstallation.zip file
2. Unzip iPlusInstallation.zip to the desired location - recomended location is "C:\iPlusInstallation\"
3. Run iPlusInstallation - double click on the gip.tool.installerAndUpdater.exe
